~Our day off~

Hallo all, I don't have many pics to post tonight, but thought I would post a couple from Julianna and my day off yesterday. It was unexpected to be able to take off for a couple hours, but the family here decided to leave for the day and said we could take a break, and we still had Steffy's car to use, so we went out and drove around! The weather was unseasonably warm, about 70 degrees and sunny! It was so amazing. The first pic is the sunset at the beach, they are usually better but it was kind of a foggy day... still gorgeous though! The rest are at these beautiful places, Porto Colom and Cala Figuera. I took a couple 'creative' pictures for fun towards the bottom. It was a great day and I am seriously getting spoiled with the weather here! Today we had another 65 degree day with sun and quite a bit of wind. Julianna and I had to make a couple fences for the horses to move them to areas with grass since the pastures and paddocks have been eaten down. We also rode earlier today and this afternoon I rode Abraixo preparing myself for our lesson tomorrow! Julianna will take pictures, so watch for those soon. Other than that, still enjoying every day and getting prepared for Ireland soon! Thanks all of you who look at my blog! I can't believe I have had so many pageviews! I hope you guys have a great rest of your day, I am off to bed to start early again tomorrow morning! Miss everyone lots and lots!

  2. Hi from Aunt Suzy!

Miss Malli, you certainly are making the most of your occasional day off. Good for you! The photos you are sending in these blogs are just beautiful. You are developing quite an eye for composition.

It sounds as if you are making amazing memories to cherish meeting new friends and of course animals. Horses, goats, chickens and cats so far by my count.

Couldn't be happier that you are having such a great adventure. I would love to hear about some of the Spanish dishes you are enjoying. Paella with lovely fresh fish perhaps?

I speak with you mom often and she is doing well these days. We always laugh a lot, share our latest adventures and talk about our girls. We both miss seeing our beautiful daughters as often as we would like..... but would not change a thing in any of your lives. All accomplished and graced with the interest in world travel. We all enjoy reading your blog entrees.

    Happy holidays Malli.
    Love, Aunt Suzy
