Hey everyone!!

Hi! So sorry I haven't done a new post lately, it has been SO cold here and I haven't wanted to be outside much to be online and make a new post. I am doing really well, still trying to get prepared to go to freezing cold Ireland! It has been below freezing here at night lately, and pretty cold during the day with wind which makes it feel a lot colder. The humidity here is also always really high so it seems way colder than it is. These are the pictures of Abraixo and I at our lesson! He did really well and I tried to be as calm as possible; he is so sensitive to any type of body language, so he gets nervous really easily. After my lesson was over, I was so relieved that I yelled "WOO-HOOO!!!" and he totally freaked out and took off a little bit, which I thought was so funny because I am so used to my horse and her being so used to me doing random things like that, I did not expect him to care at all! Apparently yelling around him is something we need to work on. Next week the family leaves for Germany, so Julianna and I are going to be fully responsible for this place for a week! It should be really nice though weather wise, and we are doing a beach ride on Christmas so I am really excited for that. It is so weird not being home for Christmas, but we are making a delicious dinner with Steffy so it should be very yummy! All the horses are good as well as the pigs, goats, geese, chickens, cats and birds! Today we went out on a ride and I rode this 26 year old mare who was a trot racer, and she is still in really good shape and is SO energetic, it was really fun and I think she enjoyed getting out as well. Tomorrow is my day off so I have lots of laundry to do and the apartment to clean, but I will definitely be helping Julianna because we had to bring the horses in tonight since it will rain all night and tomorrow, so she has quite a lot of stalls to clean. I am finally completely healthy again, I was sick on and off for 3 weeks which was so annoying but I am feeling really good and basically back to normal. I hope everyone is getting excited for Christmas! I honestly cannot believe how fast the time has gone by... Anyway I am getting pretty cold outside so I will take plenty of pictures next week and definitely post a new blog sooner next time! Love and miss everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
